250 Spencer Street – (West Side Place)

ProFinish Coatings has been working alongside Ellis Air and ProBuild at the ongoing development of West Side Place since early 2019.

Upon completion, West Side Place will be one of the tallest hotels in the southern hemisphere. 

ProFinish Coatings has been given the task to fire rate all of Ellis Air’s ductwork, which requires a fire rating level of 120 minutes. This is achieved by using the Promat Australia’s product Promaspray P300. West Side Place takes up more than half a Melbourne City block and will consist of two towers. Once finished will stand 270 metres tall, housing residential apartments, Ritz-Carlton Hotel and first-class amenities. West Side Place is an ongoing project, expected for completion in 2022.
